Complete Sustainable Living Workshop

The education we offer, in addition to sustainable organic farming, is in complete sustainable living. Our development project is on going in areas such as water catchment, alternative energy, riverbank restoration, erosion control.

We are planning a project of building a fully sustainable dwelling complete with its food source in the way of vegatable gardens and edible trees. We intend to use as much buildable resource from the land as we can. We are graced with an abundance of building resources on the land, awaiting our creativy in its usage.

There are trees quite suitable for building with, which when removed will give ground for edibles to be planted in their place - such as fruit trees and avocados, other sustainable gardens. The trees, Nature, will be working with us. Honoring and communicating with Nature's spirits is a continual part of our process.

There are rocks in the riverbed for building gardens. Rocks will be removed in a manner that leaves a flow of water that will lessen the impact on the erosion of the existing riverbank.

With our building of a sustainable dwelling we intend to better the land whose resources we use. We will leave in its place areas that will produce food for ourselves and our community, and a longer-lasting structure of the land. Permaculture, Permaliving!

We will be offering concurrent education and hands-on experience of this project as it is constructed. Please express your interest in joining us in the education and building by contacting us for more information in regards to timing, and for placement on our list. Workshops/retreats will be held in one-week increments. Enrollment will be limited to enhance the educational and overall experience of each participant.
